Chris Urband, M.D.
Orthopaedic Surgeon
“Taking the time to be an advocate for our patients is how we ensure they get the best treatment options possible, so they make the right decision for themselves.”
Dr. Christopher Urband is board-certified and fellowship trained in orthopaedic sports medicine and shoulder surgery, with a special interest in treatment of shoulder, hip, and knee injuries. He specifically trained extensively in shoulder reconstruction, including anatomic and reverse total shoulder arthroplasty. Dr. Urband is known for taking his time with patients. He uses his engineering education to get to the "root cause" of issues rather than jumping to the most obvious or easiest solution when necessary. An avid skier, surfer, backpacker, cyclist, and triathlete himself, he enjoys treating the athletic population and has written multiple book chapters on upper extremity conditions.
